Course overview
About this course
This course is aimed at editors, sound designers and mixers who already know their way around a DAW and want facility-grade Nuendo workflows. Completing Nuendo Fundamentals — or equivalent experience — is strongly recommended.
You will work on licensed scenes from real productions: conforming picture, editing dialogue, designing effects, mixing in surround and immersive formats, and delivering to specification.
What you’ll learn
- Run efficient ADR sessions with Nuendo’s dedicated ADR taker and dialogue tools
- Design and edit sound effects using the MediaBay, Direct Offline Processing and field recorder workflows
- Mix in surround and immersive formats, including renderer setup and downmix strategy
- Deliver print masters, stems and IMF/broadcast packages that pass QC first time
What will set you apart
- A broadcast-spec scene mix in your showreel, graded by a working re-recording mixer
- Fluency in the exact workflows used by facilities that run Nuendo
- A certificate that signals advanced, assessed competence — not just attendance
The value of certification
- Graduates receive the Steinberg Training Certificate in Nuendo Post-Production Techniques. The final assessment is graded against the same technical specification used for broadcast delivery, so the credential reflects genuinely professional standards.
